I am an AI-first transformation leader with over 27 years of experience in leading large scale Digital transformations and in building new businesses and unicorns.

I am a global citizen who has been fortunate enough to have lived in 11 countries and worked across 40 countries in 6 continents and across industries during her career.

I have a deep background in Artificial Intelligence and a unique ability to incubate and grow new businesses as well as develop new innovative solutions and products.

I am also on the Board of Directors for some renowned global firms.

I am lucky to be one of the top ethnic and diverse leaders in the world of technology with my contributions recognized by the Women Economic Forum and MIT Sloan.

I am the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at BT Group and a Non-Executive Director on the board of Lloyds Banking Group. I am also the Vice-chair and Board member for TM Forum. Previously I was also on the board of Max Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare chains in India.

Prior to BT, I was the Global Chief Information Officer & CEO Cloud and Security Business of Bharti Airtel Limited, one of the largest global telecoms with over 400mn customers and over 1 million enterprises in 21 countries.

Prior to that I was the CIO and global technology leader with companies such as BBVA (Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria), Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and HSBC where she led various multi-country large scale transformations. I have also worked as a consultant to British Airways and Qantas. 

I am the recipient of the prestigious 2018 MIT Sloan CIO Leadership Award and the TMForum Global CIO of the year award. I have also been recognized by Economic Times as top 10 women in the telecom and tech industry across the globe. I has also been awarded the Women of the Decade in Innovation & Leadership by the Women Economic Forum. She is also known for the Diversity and Inclusion contributions across the globe.
